The company was founded as a family business in Vukovar on 29th
October, 1990. Then it had 5 employees and was dealing with service
and trade.

The founders
were Ljuban Lukić, his brother Rajko and Racko Vuković. On
12th June, 1991 its seat was moved to Subotica
and its business expanded by production of alcoholic beverage. |

Now "Lukas"
employs 70 workers on regular basis and it occasionally hires
seasonal labour force. |

Today the company has 33000 plum trees and
18000 pear trees planted on the 70-hectare plantation, distillery
for fruit processing and grain based alcohol production, up-to-date
filling equipment for 44 kinds of products, production of
cardboard and blown packing material for own purposes. |

Tha plant
was built on the area of 12 hectares, the plateau with circular
road covers 8,000 m2. |

Infrastructure,
including the generating sets in case of power failure, has
been completed. |

The administrative
building in Subotica is to be renovated and will be used as
a shopping centre with about 30 shops and as many offices
and a central restaurant.
It is ideal for representation agencies of both domestic and
foreign companies having been supplied with entire infrastructure. |

of business is completely computerized and carried out by

of the vehicles is done in the own workshop. |
